Erin N. Blount, President

Erin has held the position of President of the EMI® Board since March 2014. She is a proud alumna of Alabama State University and holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. Erin continued her education at Auburn University of Montgomerywhere she received a M.B.A. with a concentration in Accounting. Her is currently pursuing M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy at Richmont Graduate University. Erin works as a Treasury Accountant at a privately held company in metro Atlanta and an Adjunct Accounting Professor at Atlanta Technical College. She has the distinct pleasure of being paid for what passion would allow her to do at no cost. Erin has a servant’s heart and it is demonstrated in her community involvement. She is an active member of her church in Atlanta, Georgia and serves in multiple capacities. She is a member of the Christian Education division and serves as a Coach to Facilitators, facilitator of Precept Upon Precept courses and Small Group studies. In addition, she is also an active member of the Ministers In Training and the LINKS leadership ministries. She is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Erin has a zeal for life that is contagious. She never meets a strange and never ceases to smile. She enjoys cultivating relationships and being of service.

 

Demitria Ray, Vice President

Demitria Ray joined the EMI® Board in April 2015 as Vice President. After graduating from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s degree in Genetics, Demitria joined major pharmaceutical company in Houston, TX. She worked as a Research Associate in Molecular Genetics and held roles in Intellectual Property and Regulatory Affairs submitting clinical data to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for drug development programs. Demitria is actively involved in her local church through the Ladies’ and Discipleship Ministries. She also uses her charismatic personality on Sunday mornings as she greets fellow worshipers.  Demitria has been happily married since 2002. She enjoys serving her family as a homeschooling mother. Her two children, Aristosios and Katinoula reap the benefit of all that she is and all that she is becoming in this season of life.

When she has the opportunity, Demitria enjoys traveling, cooking and gardening.

 

Ashley R. Holland, Secretary

Ashley Holland joined the EMI® Board in March 2014 as Secretary. Although not defined by her career, Ashley is a Certified Public Accountant, currently working as at publicly trader retail company in California. She graduated from Clark Atlanta University with a Bachelor and Master of Arts in Accounting. Ashley has a servant’s heart and a leader’s spirit. She currently serves as the Board of Christian Education Director and Women’s Missionary Society Vice President in her local church. Also active in her local community, she has coached youth basketball as well as a youth girls track team. Driven by the cause of mentorship, due to the impact mentorship had on her, she currently mentors young ladies and peers in the areas of goal setting, financial literacy and life development. These are values she does not treat casually. Descried in 3 words, Ashley is creative, relational and intentional. Her hobbies include basketball, writing poetry, playing pool and reading.
